You don't need to be here two hours early. Not necessary. Free parking, quiet and Derek, the general manager is AMAZING. He remembers me by name, and is ALWAYS happy to do his job. Very positive guy and I love flying here
Nice airport for such a small population in the area. If they can keep a nice restaurant open in there it would be even better
The flights out of Eau are similar $ to Msp. 5 buck a day for long term parking. Far less drama. Hubs out of Ord. 2x per day. Easy choice over driving to the Cities.
I was told by the rental car guy that if I didn't catch my bag at baggage claim when It came through first I would have to wait an hour for someone to go in back and get it but my bag already went through when he said that and there was no one there to even talk to as they were closing the airport around me I had to have the nice gentleman at the bar to call a maintenance guy to come out and get it for me. I was there for 2 hours waiting for my bag. I'll be going to Minneapolis from now on
Small airport. Good and friendly staff. Flights only to Chicago. Wish there were more.
