I had a very good experience with the Eau Claire Enterprise branch. There were no issues with my reservation, the rental rate was about the same as other local car rental companies, the rental policies were very fair (no mileage limit, no state line limits), and the young lady who helped me (Megan, I believe) was very professional, courteous, and efficient. She's a big part of the reason that I will absolutely call Enterprise first if I need another rental.
This past Monday, Oct. 30, I was not too happy with Enterprise-Eau Claire as I had booked my rental online the same as I had the week previous and then upon arrival, was told there weren't any compact cars with cruise control and I said I had just had one the previous week. She showed me the car she had chosen, which was a higher price and instead of being assertive on my part and short on time, I just accepted it and it was my non-profit organization's bill. Then as I was driving it the tire low indicator came on. I didn't have any problems driving the short distance I had gone, but what if it had been a longer distance? So all in all, Enterprise might be giving their employees more incentive to bump you up to a more expensive rental, just be assertive and maintain integrity on your part. The previous employee, Jake, even gave me his card in case I had trouble, while on Monday this gal didn't. I wouldn't have had a number to call in case that tire went totally flat.
Excellent customer service! Michelle, the Rep who took care of me, was friendly and professional. Also, they warned me there was going to be a wait, but there really was not by the time all the paperwork was done, it was ready. The entire staff gave me the impression that they work well & efficiently together!
During the Spring, Fall and Winter, they offer a 3 day weekend special rate, just $11.?? a day.. THAT'S 3 days for less than you could take a taxi across town ONCE. You get 300 miles free.. I can't afford ANY OTHER rental car service. Enterprise with thier weekend special rates has made it possible for me to go see my 82yr old father who lives 40 miles away..
Most importantly, they were able to work with me about not using a credit card. I don't have any credit cards anymore and absolutely refuse to use them in the future. Enterprise was the ONLY company willing to work with me in a reasonable manner. That's the other reason why I will absolutely call Enterprise first if I need another rental.
Was treated like royalty at this Enterprises location! They sold my first car on the third rental day but gave me the choice of several premium vehicles to drive. Very friendly and accommodating! Will use them again!
