I went in a couple days ago to get my hair cut so I could donate it. I was very nervous but Paula did a wonderful job! She ended up cutting 13 inches off and I love it! Thanks!
The photo of the cut and style I wanted was on a device that was almost out of power. I tried to explain what the cut was, the stylist couldn't comprehend and brought a book (reasonable). None of the cuts in the book were that cut. I told the stylist I wanted different parts of several hair cuts and she opted to give me an entire style of a cut I had simply said I liked the length of the sides on (not reasonable). She was rude and demeaning in her tone and arrogance. She also screwed up my eyebrows waxing under the entire length of them making the arch the entire length of the brow -gross. She told me she takes her own creative liberties there all the time. I paid and didn't complain (I know it's hard to hodgepodge different cuts and styles) and as I was leaving the store after paying, immediately looked over my shoulder to see her making a nasty face in gesture about me to the other stylist (who wasn't looking at her yet). Terrible. I hadn't done anything nice for myself cosmetically in over a year. I was treated like I was dirty (although I showered and shampooed before going) and was told the accommodations I have needed since I was a toddler for the way my hair needed to be cut weren't possible for anyone to need. It was a beautician that figured this need out by trial and error. The stylist at Mastercuts wasn't listening and was more interested in herself and her own judgements even about my life as we were talking. There is another stylist there I'd recommended to others and had really liked her work, but I thought I'd give this other woman a try. Big mistake and now from the expression this one gave to the other, it makes me wonder if all of the 'nice' there was fake to begin with. This stylist couldn't even say one positive thing about her boyfriend of a decade. If you love to play haircut roulette and are ready to agree with everything a pushy woman says, she's the beautician for you! She works mainly Wednesdays, Saturdays, and some Sundays and has been here for 7 years.
Horrible! My daughter stated shoulder lenght. Needless to say it's more ear length with super curly hair. Person cutting was not listening when we stated how short. Never go here again.
I hadn't dyed my hair really ever and came in with some photos, a realistic way to not have brassy color was discussed and she talked me through the process and answered all my questions. Very helpful and turned out great I love it even though I was a little worried. Plus my sister was there the whole time and she didn't seem to mind, I really enjoyed myself and plan on going back once I need a touch up. I would highly recommend.
I went there on a whim while shopping to get a trim and the stylist (Emily) cut my hair terribly wrong. My hair is sort of thick as it is and the layers she gave me make my hair look very thick and too choppy. I then opted to get a deep conditioning treatment and the only thing it did was make my hair smell good and not any softer at all; definitely was not worth my time or money. Needless to say I'm not going back and wouldn't recommend anyone else to either.
