We go on with the visit, I had a few tests done which had to be discarded because the doctor came back saying they don't take my insurance, to which I basically owe them around $3,000 for basically nothing. I walked out feeling violated, used, and lied to. I feel like I was taken advantage of because this was my first OB visit and was extremely nervous. Everyone treated me nicely, but this whole situation made me feel differently so I want to put this out there.
I called beforehand asking if they took my insurance. After saying yes, I confirmed again with an email photo of my insurance information and they called back confirming that they took it. So I show up, they ask for my card, look at it and confirm to go ahead.
