I was going through this company for years for home and auto insurance. Supposedly they outsource to other insurance companies to find you the best rate. Which is a JOKE! I was paying almost 2,000.00 every 6 months for auto insurance on 3 vehicles, and was told the minors in the house had to be added on the adult vehicles with full coverage as well per state law. I called several times to inquire about why my insurance was so high. They outright told me that "yes, it is really high", and continued to look for other places that would provide me with cheaper insurance but kept telling me there were no other cheaper options.
It has now been another two weeks and we have received our vehicle back, but now without the license plates. After checking in with the body shop that fixed our vehicle, we were told that the tow company has the plates in Minnesota.
We have tried to call, stop in and email Dave but have not received any communication back.
I called a few other companies for quotes and they could NOT believe how much I had been paying. I am now paying only 1/4 of what I was paying for my auto insurance before and was told that another adult vehicle did not need to have the minor listed on it with full coverage.
My wife hit a deer with our car four weeks ago. After calling Owner Dave Strobel, our car was towed to a local mechanic shop, three miles from our home, for one of their adjusters to look at the damage... or so we thought. The following Tuesday, my wife again had to call to find out the status of the vehicle and Dave was unable to give us an answer. At this point, our own mechanic called to dig some more and found the car had been towed across state lines to a junk yard in Minnesota!! It wasn't until my wife sent an email to Dave that we would be taking action through the State of Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner that Dave reached out to us, offering no solution or advise.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
Awesome people, awesome company. Has saved me a ton of money over the years providing insurance for everything I own or drive. Had a roof cave in on my boat once, all I had to do was bring it to a boat repair company and get an estimate and I had the check 3 days later. Will continue my business here as long as they are around!
