Had a great experience again at this hotel. Heidi at the front desk was extremely helpful and personable! Will definitely come back next time we are in the area.
Great hotel with nice decor. The Coffeeshop ECDC is great. The restaurant has good food. The bar in the second floor has good beer selection.
The room was very nice. Cool Edison bulb dimmer lights next to the comfortable bed. There was a wrap-around seating area in one corner which was something you don't see often in a hotel room. The food at the restaurant was great and included some very unique selections including the venison schnitzel with lamb gravy. My only complaint was the shower. The glass enclosure did not open at all on the side where the controls were, which made it inconvenient to adjust the temperature before getting in the shower. Also the water that flowed down the shower door on the inside would drip out onto the bath mat instead of staying inside the shower. Other than that our stay was great.
The Lismore has a top notch confrence and seminar space. The hotel is clean, chic, and the staff is great. The parking is a little tricky but other than that, I was impressed.
Convenient location in downtown Eau Claire--within walking distance to restaurants and movie theater. Hotel has own rooftop bar, restaurant, and coffee shop. Rooms were spacious with a large corner couch in addition to king bed, desk, coffee area, closet, and bathroom. Light is limited to floor lamp, desk lamp, and two wall sconces one each side of the bed--the light suffices but takes a couple minutes for bulbs to reach full brightness. It's also not convenient to turn each lamp/sconce on and off individually, as opposed to one switch for a ceiling light or several lights to light the entire room. Complimentary toiletries are good quality and replaced daily from housekeeping. There's a list of other common toiletry/hygiene items available complimentary from the front desk (tooth brush, toothpaste, etc.). Shower (no tub) is poorly designed: only the opposite side of the glass opens to the shower so it's easy to get wet from turning on the shower from outside (prefer to let water warm up first before stepping in); and there is a gap between the stationary glass and glass door sides so it's very easy for shower water to get through and get the bathroom floor very soaked. Service has been good: beds are made every day and, to save water, housekeeping replaces new bedding and towels every 3 days unless a guest specifically asks for it to be changed sooner.
