Love this park. Always ample parking when we have gone. They also have walking paths which can take you to UW-Eau Claire, Downtown, Banbury Place. It is also very close to Ramone's ice cream parlor. So you can go get a ice cream cone and have a nice walk on a summer day.
This may be my absolute favorite park in the world...but is definitely my favorite in Eau Claire, WI. Even when there aren't any of the fantastic events going on there, such as the EC Downtown Farmer's Market or the summer concert series, or the art fair, or whatever else might be going on, it's just a spectacular spot to hang out. With the rivers beside it, and a nice spot to step down and dip your toes in, or perhaps get the fishing pole out, this park is perfect for just enjoying some outside time.
Beautiful and peaceful, a place to bring the family for a picnic or a casual walk, visit the Farmer's Market or check out live music in the summer. Great for a beautiful walk alone, taking in the many sights and sounds. The new lights on the bridge have added even more beauty and creates a unique and peaceful place to explore and enjoy.
I love taking my dog down there for a walk, we'll go down to the water, then take a break on a grassy spot while we people watch.
Must see this beautiful park during the day and night. When they light up the old bridge at night. It's a good place to see year around. 5 star all the way for a small city like Eau Claire that sits next to two rivers.
Beautiful park, lots of plants and flowers. Plenty of open grassy area for putting a blanket down for a picnic. Thursday's during the summer, there's music in the park. Saturday's there's the farmer's market.
