Best selection of saltwater fish around. Can't beat the prices on fish either. They have a lot of cool exotic reptiles you wouldn't expect to find at a chain store. Best Petco I've seen to and I've gone to a lot of them.
Never seems well organized. The staff are pleasant. Their pricing system is jacked and you can never follow how discounts are being applied. Sometimes I want to purchase more bags of dog food than 2hats on the shelf and I can't. They refer you to ordering online but my food is cheaper in store so ordering online makes no sense to me. I purchase from petco only bc they stock my food and others do not.
Your female manager (tall, thin, Caucasian, dreds) has the Customer Service skills of a hippopotamus. I should have gotten her name so I could share it in here. When I do, I will.
Today my family surprised me w an infant Bearded Dragon for a Christmas gift. First off, infants shouldn't be sold so that was my first issue. Secondly, I couldn't even be excited... mostly because I found out where it was from - your store. I had a bearded dragon for years (RIP Lizzy at age 11) and for kicks I'd come in there and ask your staff questions. You hire anyone off the street clearly. They have NO IDEA what they are talking about (yes I do confront and educate your staff after the fact) AND you sell SAND as a substrate for them? Clearly you hire and breed stupidity! FYI: Sand or Wood Chips used as substrate = guarentee compaction in Bearded Dragons = death.
Puppy dog and I love it. Didn't see any creepy crawly things there aside from snakes that would hold my intrest. Shame cause the tarantulas and scorpions I usually take home as pets.
Friendly service, nice selection, fun place to visit and shop. We also appreciate VETCO which is here think every other Sunday starting at noon.
I've been to your store and you do not take proper care of your reptiles. I don't have the heart to have my family return the reptile (as all of your pets need to be rescued from you) so I guess I'll be spending A Lot of money to get him/her up to par. But I'm a rescuer so I suppose your facility is the right choice in that factor.
